Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Civil Aviation is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the posts of Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane), Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane), Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane), Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter) and Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter). The chosen applicant will get a salary of Rs.930100 per month. As per the official notification of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be hired for a period up to 30-06-2025 or till FOI attains the age of 65 years or until FOI remains eligible to hold the post as per the eligibility requirements or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The applicant should have a Graduation in Engineering or a Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or institute.

For Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)-

  • The Indian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) issued by DGCA on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport.
  •  Pilot in Command Rating (PIC) on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport with All Up Weight (AUW) above 5700 Kgs.
  •  Valid Instrument Rating (IR) and Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC) on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport endorsed on licence.
  • Total flying experience not less than 5000 hours on Aircraft, out of which not less than 1500 hours as PIC on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport.
  •  Valid Class I Medical assessment and in case of any limitation it will be subject to the approval of the Medical Directorate of DGCA.
  •  Accident and incident-free record in the preceding five years from the date of application (in case a record for the complete period is not available a self-declaration for the same may be submitted).
  • The candidate Should not be BA positive during the last three years (a self-declaration for the same be submitted, especially for pilots who were flying abroad.).
  • NOC from parent employer, if any.

Desirable-

  • Qualification of an examiner/instructor, on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport approved by DGCA or Qualified Flight Instructor Rating (QFI) in Category A from Defence Services.
  •  Graduation in Science with Physics and Mathematics as subjects from a recognized University or institute.

For Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter)-

  • The candidate should have a Commercial Pilot’s Licence (Helicopter) issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation India with current Pilot-In-Command rating on Civil Helicopter
  •  Total experience of not less than 3000 hours, out of which not less than 1500 hours as Pilot-in-Command on helicopters;
  • Valid Class I Medical Assessment issued by DGCA and in case of any limitation it will be subject to approval of Medical Directorate of DGCA.
  • Accident and incident-free record for last 5 years from the date of application (in case record for complete period is not available a self-declaration for the same may be submitted).
