Ministry of Commerce & Industries Recruitment 2023: Ministry of Commerce & Industries has notified and is inviting applications from eligible candidates for hiring the candidate for the position of Consultant, Senior Research Associate, Research Associate, and Young Professionals purely initially for a period of the one-year further extendable subject to satisfactory periodic performance evaluated on yearly basis, as per the Ministry of Commerce & Industries Recruitment 2023. There are 16 vacancies for the Posts in total. The selected candidates will be posted at Indian Intellectual Property (IP) Offices located in Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Nagpur as per requirement. The remuneration for the candidate appointed to the Posts will be up to Rs. 1,25,000. The date Of the Written Examination And Interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidate through email.

For Consultant:
Essential Qualification:
Master’s degree in sciences or LLM or BE/B. Tech from the institute of national importance or equivalent reputed institution.
Desirable Qualification:
Ph.D. in sciences or IPR management or MTech, MS
The candidate should have Experience of at least 15 years in handling IPR matters.
For Senior Research Associate:
Essential Qualification:
(a) The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in sciences or BE/BTech from an institute of national importance or equivalent reputed institution and
(b) The candidate should hold an LL.B./LLM or Degree/Diploma in IPR (full-time – at least 1 year).
For Senior Research Associate:
Desirable Qualification:
The candidate should hold a Ph.D. in sciences or law or IPR management or MTech or M.S.
The candidate should have experience of at least 8 years in handling IPR matters.

The remuneration for the candidate appointed to the Post of Consultant will be Rs. 1,25,000.
The candidate selected for the post of Senior Research Associate will be given a remuneration of Rs. 90,000.
The candidate selected will be paid a remuneration of Rs. 70,000 for the Role of Research Associate.

Engagement of individual consultants is for a fixed period and will be initially for a period of 1 year, but not exceeding 3 years in any case.
The Selection will be done through a written examination for shortlisting candidates for appearing in interviews and an interview for final selection and offer of appointment to the post of Young Professionals. All eligible candidates who have successfully submitted online applications for Young Professionals and whose applications have been scrutinized shall be called for a written examination. The written examination is meant only for shortlisting candidates for interviews.
The written examination and/or interview will be conducted at the O/o Controller General of Patents, Designs, Trademarks, and Geographical Indications, Boudhik Sampada Bhavan, S. M. Road, Antop Hill, Mumbai – 400 037, Maharashtra.
