Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023: Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is recruiting aspirants for the post of Research Fellowship in Research Associate and Junior Research Fellow, who will be appointed on an Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), Bengaluru. As mentioned in the Official notification of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023, there are 06 vacancies for this recruitment where 02 vacancies avail for the Research Associate post and 04 vacancies for the Junior Research Fellow post. Candidates will be appointed on a tenure period of 02 years for both Research Fellowship and JRF, but for JRF the tenure period might be extendable as per the rules. In accordance with the official notification of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023, the Research Associate will get Rs. 54000 per month, and Junior Research Fellow will get Rs.31000 per month.
According to the official notification of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for Research Associate and JRF should be 35 years and 28 years. Candidates will be selected on the bases of their performance in walk-in interviews. Eligible and Interested applicants can submit their online application by visiting their official website before April 18, 2023. The screening test and interview will occur on the 9th, 10th, and 11th of May, 2023 at the ADE, DRDO, Raman Gate, Suranjandas Road, New Thippasandra Post, Bengaluru – 560075. Only Raman Gate will be open to candidates. (Reporting time 0800-0830 Hrs on 09 May 2023 for JRF and 0800- 0830 Hrs on 11 May 2023 for RA). Research Associate (RA)
Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering
Ph.D. in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering with expertise in composite material-based structural design and analysis, airframe design optimization using new simulation techniques, and structural design automation.
OR
M.E./M. Tech in the first Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering division has three years of research, teaching, or design and development experience following M.E./M. Tech, with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed Journal
Desirable:
Knowledge of composite material-based structural design and analysis, optimisation of airframe design using new simulation techniques, and structural design automation.
Electronics and Communication Engineering Ph.D. in Electronics/Microwaves with experience designing and testing AESA antennas/low observable technologies.
OR
M.E. / M. Tech in any discipline related to electronics, communication, microwaves,, and RF in the first division. having three years of research, teaching, or design and development experience after M.E/M. Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed Journal.
Desirable:
Knowledge of FSS, Radar Absorbers, Radomes, and AESA Antennas EM Design, Simulation, and Modeling.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
B.E. / B.Tech in First Division with a qualified and valid GATE score (OR) M.E. / M.Tech in First Division at both the Graduate and Postgraduate levels
OR
M.E. / M.Tech in First Division at both the Graduate and Postgraduate levels.
