Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023: Ministry of Defence is inviting applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling up the 03 (three) posts of Foreman (Mechanic) and 01 (one) post of Foreman (Ammunition & Explosive), Group ‘B’, GAZETTED. As per Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Notification there are a total of 04 vacancies for the Posts. The selected candidate will be placed in the Pay Scale Level – 7 of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC (Rs. 44900-142400) in units located at Mumbai and Vishakhapatnam in the Date General of Naval Armament Inspection Organisation (DGNAI) in Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy) on deputation (including short term contract). However, the selected candidates will have the liability to serve anywhere in India.

The Ministry of Defence is hiring dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented personnel for the post of Foreman(Mechanic) and Foreman (Ammunition & Explosive). There are 04 vacancies for this job post.

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years, as on the closing date of receipt of application.
As per Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023, Official Notification Qualification for Ministry of Defence Recruitment are given below:
Deputation (including Short-term contract):
Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union territories or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or SemiGovernment or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations:
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department;
Or
(ii) with five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level-6 (Rs 35400-112400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
1. Foreman (Mechanic):
(i) Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Production Engineering from a recognized University or Institute;
and
(ii) Three years experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance Department in the area of Armament Production and Inspection.
Foreman (Ammunition and Explosive):
(i) The candidate should hold a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution; and
(ii) He/She should have three years of experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance Department in the area of Armament Production and Inspection.
As per the official notification, the candidate will be getting a salary amount of pay Level-7 of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC (Rs. 44900-142400).
The Period of deputation (including short-term contract) including a period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
