Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) has called in Applications from Experienced Officers in the Central Government/State Governments and Ancillary Organizations meeting the Eligibility for Joint Director Position in the Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine and Homeopathy (PCIM&H).
As per the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Notification, There is 01 Vacancy to be filled with the Appointment of an Eligible Incumbent as Joint Director in Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine and Homeopathy (PCIM&H), Ghaziabad (Re-established as a Subordinate Office under the Ministry of AYUSH).
The Joint Director in PCIM&H shall be appointed in the Pay Matrix Rs.123100 to Rs.215900 Level 13 By Deputation Including Short-Term Contract (General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted Non-Ministerial) Post. The Last Date for the Eligible Candidates with their respective Willingness is the 60th Date from issuance of the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Notification in the Employment News.

Vacancy: 01 Post
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) shall not exceed 56 Years.
Officers under the Central Government/State Government/Union Territories/Statutory Organizations/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings/Recognized University/ies Or Accredited Research Institutions:
i) holding Analogous Posts on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or Department; Or
ii) with 05-Years of Service in the Post(s) drawing Salary under Pay Level 12 in the Pay Matrix or Equivalent in the Parent Cadre or Department; and
b) having in possession of the following Educational Qualifications and Experience:
I) Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Botany/Pharmaceutical Sciences from any of the Government of India Accredited Universities/Equivalent Institutes; Or
MD (Ayurveda)/MD (Unani)/MD (Siddha)/MD Homeopathy in Pharmacy from any Accredited University under the Indian Medicine Central Act 1970. With
Enrolment on the Central/State Register of the Indian Homeopathy Medicine with the publication of Papers on Quality Control and Standardization of Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Homeopathic Drugs in Reputed Journals or Chapter in Books
II) Doctorate (Ph.D.) in the Subject mentioned under the Educational Qualification (I).
III) Experience: 15 years’ Experience after Essential Qualification, in Drug manufacturing Or Analysis Or Research or Teaching or Pharmacopoeial Work or Quality Control and Pharmacopoeial Standardisation of Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Homeopathic drugs.
Desirable:
a) Administrative or Technical Experience in any Supervisory Level at any Department or Accredited Scientific Institution or Laboratory or GMP Compliant Ayurveda/Homeopathy/Siddha/Unani Drug Industry.
b) Experience of Guiding/Directing Research in the Specialization Field.
c) Published Research Work in Reputed Journals or Chapters in the Books or Records of Patents granted or filed.
As per the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Notification, Post-screening of the Applications and the Testimonials received from the Candidates, Only Eligible/Suitable Officers Shortlisted would be summoned for Personal Interviews.
Deputation (ISTC) Tenure including the Period of Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) in Another Ex-Cadre(s) held immediately preceding this Appointment in the Analogous or some other Organization/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 05-Years.
