The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, an executive agency of the Union Government of the Republic of India is responsible for IT policy, strategy, and development of the electronics industry. The well-known agency is currently recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Under Secretary on a deputation basis at the G20 Secretariat. The contract period will be initially for a period of one year, and it can be extended as per the requirement. Presently, there are a total number of 2 vacant posts for which candidates will be able to apply only via offline mode. In addition, five years of experience in the field of Electronics/Information Technology, or Policy Issues is required. Candidates possessing experience in International Trade/Relations, Multilateral Cooperation, and/or International Organizations, International negotiations, and documents in the field of digital economy/ICT/digital trade are eligible to apply.
Also, candidates must know that only the officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administration or Public sector undertakings or universities or Recognized Research Institutes holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department are eligible for this post. Candidates must have efficient knowledge of computers/digital communication.
