Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2022: Ministry of External Affairs invites applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of 01 (one) Consultant at the New Delhi Office. The engagement would be on a contractual basis, initially for 1 year which can be extended on the basis of performance.

The remuneration will be commensurate with the experience of the candidate maximum of Rs. 10 Lakh per annum. Only female candidates can apply for these posts. The last date for receiving applications is 3″ August 2022 (1730 hrs)

Consultant– 01

Age-Limit: The applicant should not be more than 50 years (as on the date of the publication of the advertisement).

Essential Qualification & Experience:

• The Applicant should be an Indian National.
• Applicant must have M.Sc/M. Tech or higher degree.
• Applicants should be in good health.
• Previous work experience in handling issues relating to Science and Technology.
• Knowledge of the Chinese language is not mandatory, but extra credit may be given for knowledge of the Chinese language. Extra credit will be given for experience of work in a reputed university, publication, think-tank or research organization in the area of foreign policy, international affairs or China-related issues.
• Extra credit will be given for relevant publications/writings in reputed journals/periodicals.

Salary:

The remuneration package will be commensurate with the experience and profile of the selected candidates, subject to a maximum of Rs. 10 lakh per annum and deduction of applicable taxes. The consultancy fees shall be paid in Indian Rupees.

Tenure:

The tenure for the post will initially for 01 (one) year. The contract can be extended further depending on the assessment of performance, mutual willingness, and depending on requirements. Unauthorized absence may lead to termination of the engagement. The contract can be terminated by giving a one-month notice period by either of the party.
