Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of External Affairs is hiring officers from the Central Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the Parent Cadre or Department or officers from the Central Government with five years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis for the post of Legal Officer (Grade-I) on a deputation basis in the Legal and Treaties Division of the Ministry of External Affairs. As per the official notification of the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023, there are 02 vacant seats available for the given post. The selected candidates will be paid on Level 12 of the Pay Matrix. Candidates should be a maximum age of 56 years to apply for the mentioned post. The selected candidates will be engaged for an initial period of 02 years but may be extended as per extant guidelines prescribed by DOPT on the subject.
In accordance with the official notification of the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023, candidates should have a master’s degree in Law with a specialization in the field of International Law or International Relations or International Organisations from a recognized University. The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 4 years.
