For GP 1800 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 01)-

• The candidate should have a minimum qualification of 10th Pass/ITI or Equivalent.

For GP 1900/2000 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 02/03)-

• The candidate should have a minimum qualification of Intermediate or Equivalent Examination passed by any Recognized Board.

For GP 2400/2800 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 04/05)-

• The candidate should have a minimum qualification of degree or its equivalent.
• Exam passed from a recognized university/Institution.
• For Technical Posts, candidates shall pass Act Apprenticeship/ITI.
• The Certificate of Act Apprenticeship/ITI must be approved by SCVT/NCVT.
• For appointment against sports quota in Technician–III, the minimum educational qualification should be prescribed as a 10th pass.
• However, the training period for such Sports quota appointees will be 03 Years unless they pass ITI qualification in the relevant Trade, in which case it will be 6 months.
