Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2022: National Investigation Agency, or NIA, functions as the Central Counter-Terrorism Law Enforcement Agency in India. Its main aim is to investigate offenses in relation to terrorism along with certain other acts which have national ramifications. Each year, the Ministry of Home Affairs announces vacancies for multiple posts.

Eligibility Criteria for Each Post in Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2022

For Section Officer/Office Superintendent

Candidates possessing a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/institute will be able to apply for the post. Also, computer proficiency in Word processing, spreadsheet, and slide generation is preferable. Officers who fall under the central government/state government/union territory holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department can also apply for the post. The maximum age limit for the appointment is 56 years. 

For Assistant

Officers under the central government/state government/union territory holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department are eligible to apply for the following post. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university to apply. Computer proficiency is also preferable. The maximum age limit is 56 years. 

For Accountant

To apply for the following post, a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university is required. Officers under the central government/state government/union territory holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department are also eligible. 56 years is the maximum age limit for the post. 

For Stenographer Grade 1

Officers of the Stenographer cadre under the Central Government, State Government, or Union Territories can apply. And they must be holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department. Other essential qualifications include a graduate degree from any recognized university and computer proficiency. 

For Upper Division Clerk

For the following post, the essential qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university and computer knowledge. Officers under the central government/state government/union territory holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department are also eligible. The maximum age limit is 56 years for the post.
