Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023: Ministry of Home Affairs is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Senior Accounts Officer, Accounts Officer and Accountant on a deputation basis. As per the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 03 years which can be extendable up to 07 years. There are 05 Vacancies.
As per the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should be below the age of 56 years. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary up to Rs. 208700. Mention below is the eligibility criteria for Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023:
Senior Accounts Officer
Candidates should be an officer under the Central Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department or With five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100 plus Grade pay of 5400/- (Lvl 10 as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department: and Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university; and A pass in Subordinate Accounts Service examination or Section Officers Grade examination or Junior Accounts Officer Grade examination conducted by the Central Government Or Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent and five years of experience in cash, accounts and budget work. The departmental Accounts Officer in Pay Band-2, 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600 ( Lvl 7 as per 7th CPC) with seven years of regular service in the grade shall also be considered along with outsiders and in case he is selected for appointment to the post the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion.
Accounts Officer
Candidates should be an officer under the Central Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department, or with five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of Rs. 4200 or equivalent (Lvl 6 as per 7th CPC) in the parent cadre/department, and Candidates should have passed in Subordinate Accounts Service or Section Officers Grade or Junior Accounts Officer Grade examination conducted by the Central Government. OR Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management and experience in cash, accounts and budget work. The departmental Accountant with five years of regular service in the grade, including the service rendered, if any, in the rank of Junior Accountant prior to 1st January 2016, shall also be considered along with outsiders and in case he is selected for appointment to the post the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion.
Accountant
Candidates should be an officer under the Central Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department or with six years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of Rs. 2800 (Lvl 5 as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department or candidates should be with ten years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of Rs. 2400 (Lvl 4 as per 7th CPC)or equivalent in the parent cadre or department and candidates should have passed in Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination conducted by the organized Accounts department of the Central Government. Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management and three years of experience in cash, accounts and budget work.

Senior Accounts Officer
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 11 (Rs. 67700-208700).
Accounts Officer
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 7 (Rs. 44900-142400).
Accountant
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 6 (Rs. 35400-112400).
