Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2024: The Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways is recruiting desired, capable and eligible candidates for the post of Chief Engineer (HoD). There is only 01 seat available for the assigned position, as per the official notification of the Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2024. Applicants applying should hold a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent from a recognised university/ Institution. Candidates should have a minimum of 17 years experience in executive cadre in Planning/ Constn./Design/ Maintenance preferably of Port and Marine structures in an Industrial/ Commercial/Govt. Undertaking. The upper age limit required for the opportunity must be 45 years.
As mentioned in the official notification of Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2024, candidates appointed to the post of Chief Engineer (HoD) will be offered a monthly salary between Rs. 1,00,000 to 2,60,000 (pre-revised Rs.43200-66000) and after completion of three years regular service in the post, he/she will be elevated to the scale of pay of Rs.120000-280000 (pre-revised Rs.51300-73000) subject to fulfilling the relevant conditions as per the Ministry’s guidelines vide letter dated 19.11.2019.
