Post Name and Vacancy for Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment:

As per the Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment 2023 Notification, applications are invited for the Role of Consultant (Secretariat) – Grade II. There is only 02 vacancy to be filled up.

Age Limit for Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment:

Based on the Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment 2023 Notification, the maximum age of the candidate shall be 65 years as of the date of the Advertisement.

Qualification for Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment 2023:

Essential:

The Person with three years of experience in the post of Section Officer and above in Government or PSUs is required for the given post.

Experience for Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment:

Consultants (Secretariat) should be well versed with Establishment/ Administration/ Finance/ RTI/ Parliamentary rules and procedures. The work experience requirement may be relaxed in exceptional cases in respect of deserving candidates.

Retired Government employees i.e. Under Secretary with grade pay of Rs. 6600 (pre-revised) /Level-11 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix or Section Officer with grade pay of Rs. 4800 /5400 (pre-revised) /Level-8 to Level-10 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, having experience of three years in the required domain field would also be eligible for the position.

Remuneration for Ministry for Science and Technology Recruitment:

As has been notified in the Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the selected candidate will be paid as per the pay drawn at the time of retirement minus Basic Pension (Fixed), no other allowances will be admissible except TA.

Tenure for Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment:

The selected candidate will be appointed initially for a period of one year for the given post.
