Pay Scale under Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023:

As is notified in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Official shall be issued an Appointment in the Pay Scale Level-15 (Rs.67000-79000) (Higher Administrative Grade)-(Revised Pay Scale of Rs.182200-224100) as per 7th CPC in Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai.

Eligibility for Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023:

The Officers from the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration or Accredited Universities/Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertaking/Semi-Government/Autonomous Organizations/Bodies

A.I) holding Analogous Post(s) on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or Department; Or

ii) with 03 Years’ Regular Service in the Grade rendered post Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Band-4 (Rs.37400-67000 Plus GP Rs.10000) or Equivalent in Parent Cadre or Department; and

B) Having in possession the following Educational Qualification and Experience:

i) Extra Master’s Certificate of Competency with 12-Years’ Experience in Survey and Inspection of Foreign Going Merchant Ships and Equipment on Board such a Ship; Or

Master of Science Degree in Maritime Affairs awarded by an Accredited University with 15- Years’ Experienced in Survey and Equipment on Board such a Ship;

ii) A Certificate of Competency as Master (Foreign Going Ships) with 05-Years’ Experience as Deck Officer of which 01-Year must have been in the capacity of a Master on a Foreign Going Merchant Ship.

Maximum Age Limit for Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023:

The Maximum Age Limit for Appointment by Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) shall not be exceeding 56 Years as on the Closing Date of receipt of Applications)

Selection under Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023:

Post-Selection Eligible Officer Candidate’s Appointment on the Post Nautical Adviser to the Government of India-cum-Additional Director General (Nautical), by the Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract), as has been notified in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Recruitment 2023 Notification.

The Deputation Tenure including the Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in Similar or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 05 (Five) Years.
