Mumbai Metro Rail Recruitment 2022: Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) is hiring eligible candidates for various posts like – General Manager (Accounts), Dy. General Manager (Signal & Telecom), Dy. General Manager (Material Management), Asst. General Manager (RS), Asst. General Manager (TP), Dy. Town Planner, Dy. Engineer (PST), Dy. Engineer (Signal & Telecom), Dy. Engineer (E&M), Assistant Manager (Material Management), Jr. Engineer- II (Depot, M&P), Jr. Engineer- II (Rolling Stock). As per the official MMRCL Recruitment 2022 notification, there are only 18 vacancies for these posts.

The last date for application submission is 18th January 2023. While applying for the above post, the applicant should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility and the norms mentioned above on the specified dates and that the particulars furnished by him/ her are correct in all respects. The post-wise information about the qualifications and experience has been given below:

1. General Manager (Accounts)

Qualification:

Candidate must be a regular full-time Graduate from a recognized university and Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or MBA (Full Time) with specialization in Finance from a reputed University/ Institute.

Experience:

Essential:

  • Member of Group “A” Service of Government of India in JAG with 05 years experience or SG/ SAG Grade working in Level 13 / 13A of 7th CPC pay matrix. OR
  • Executives working in “CPSE/ PSU/ Autonomous Bodies” with 05 years experience in the E6 OR equivalent grade with IDA pay scale of Rs. 90000 – 240000 or Rs.36600-62000 (pre-revised) with minimum 02 years experience in the E7 or equivalent grade with the IDA pay scale of Rs. 100000 – 260000, OR Rs. 43200-66000 (pre-revised).
  • Candidates from the organization of private sector (with an annual turnover of not less than Rs. 2000 crores and with a minimum CTC of Rs. 20 Lakhs p.a.) should have at least 10 years of cumulative experience at a senior level/middle management level during the last 18 years.
  • Candidates should have sound knowledge and experience in Project Finance, Project Accounting, Finalisation of Annual Accounts, Internal Financial Control, Auditing and coordinating with Auditors including CAG, Multilateral/Bilateral Funding, Direct and Indirect Taxation, Treasury Management, Tender Evaluation, Contract Management, vetting of contracts/ offer, Risk Assessment, working knowledge of INDAS, compliance of Companies Act, 2013 and Corporate Governance, setting up of systems and procedures for office automation, project appraisal and project funding including raising/arranging funds for projects from Domestic Banks /International sources/ Financial Institutions / Public or on Private placement basis.

Desirable:

  • Candidate with experience working in Railways/ Metros/ other PSUs or other Govt. / Semi-Govt. will be preferred.
  • Candidates with working knowledge of ERP/Oracle Financials & Computers will be preferred.

2. Dy. General Manager (Signal & Telecom)

Qualification:

Full-time Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized and reputed university.

Experience:

Essential:

  • Sr. Scale officers of Signal and Telecom Engineering department having total minimum 06 years of service in GROUP ‘A’ OR officers of Signal and Telecom Engineering department in Sr. scale having total minimum 09 years of service in GROUP ‘B’ OR
  • Total minimum 09 years of post-qualification experience with minimum 04 years experience in next below grade (Rs. 70000 – 200000) in IDA pay scale; OR
  • Total minimum 09 years of post-qualification experience in executive grade in government entities like Metro rail corporations, RVNL, RITES, etc in the “desirable” domain for the post; OR
  • Total minimum of 09 years of post-qualification experience in the reputed private sector in executive grade with a minimum CTC of Rs. 12 Lacs in the “desirable” domain for the post.

Desirable:

  • Candidate should have experience of working in construction projects of railways/metros/ other PSUs / private sector dealing in Signal and Telecom.
  • Candidate should be conversant with international competitive bidding, computerized environment working and the latest Signaling & Telecommunications (S&T) technologies, etc.
  • Candidates with experience working on modern urban rail systems will be preferred.

3. Dy. General Manager (Material Management)

Qualification:

Full-time Degree in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized and reputed university.

Experience:

Essential:

  • Candidate having a minimum 09 year’s post qualification executive grade experience with 04 years of experience in the next below grade in IDA pay scale of Rs. 70000 – 200000 (E4 grade) or equivalent CDA pay scale OR
  • Candidate having a minimum of 09 years of postqualification executive grade experience in Govt. Metro Rail/ Govt. Organization/ PSUs OR
  • Candidates working in the Private sector should have a total minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience with a minimum of 05 years at the executive level in the “desirable” domain for the post with a current CTC of Rs. 12 lacs

Desirable:

  • Candidates should have experience in Contract Administration, Project Management, Estimation, Tendering, Quantity Survey, Store Management, Inventories Procurement of store items, etc.
  • Candidates having experience in using tender portals like GEM, CPPP, tender wizard, etc. for eprocurement and e-tendering.

4. Asst. General Manager (RS)

Qualification:

Full-time Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized and reputed university.

Experience:

Essential:

  • Jr. Scale officer having a total minimum of 05 years of service with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 (CDA); OR
  • Officer currently working in Sr. Scale of Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 (CDA) or 02 years post-qualification experience in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 60000 – 180000 in “desirable” domain for the post; OR
  • Total minimum 07 years of postqualification experience in Executive grade in Government entities in the “desirable” domain for the post; OR
  • Total minimum 07 years of postqualification experience in reputed Private sector in Executive grade in “desirable” domain for the post with minimum CTC of Rs. 08 Lacs.

Desirable:

  • Candidates should have experience of working in construction projects of Railways/ Metros/ other PSUs/ Private sector dealing with electrical power supply, and traction power supply systems.
  • Adequate experience in supervising the above-mentioned work, and coordination between various contractors at the site.
  • Candidates should have exposure to managing and controlling various types of documentation.
  • Candidates with experience of working on projects for urban rail systems will be preferred.

5. Asst. General Manager (TP)

Qualification:

Full-time Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or Planning or its equivalent degree from a recognized and reputed university and Post-Graduate Degree in Urban/ Town/ City/ Urban and Regional Planning recognized by All India Council for Technical Education/UGC or its equivalent.

Experience:

Essential:

  • Jr. Scale officer having a total minimum of 05 years of service with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 (CDA); or
  • Total minimum 05 years of postqualification experience in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 60000 – 180000 in the “desirable” domain for the post; or
  • Total minimum 07 years of postqualification experience in reputed Private sector in Executive grade in “desirable” domain for the post with minimum CTC of Rs. 12 Lacs.

Desirable:

  • Candidates having knowledge of land acquisition and land disposal, Planning and construction of large-scale buildings.
  • Candidates with experience working on projects for urban rail systems will be preferred.

6. Dy. Town Planner

Qualification:

Full-time Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or Planning or its equivalent degree from a recognized university and Post-Graduate Degree in Urban/Town/City/Urban and Regional Planning recognized by All India Council for Technical Education / UGC or its equivalent.

Experience:

Essential:

Minimum 02 years of postqualification experience as a Town / Urban Planner.

Desirable:

  • Candidates with experience in the Government sector /Public Sector Companies/ Infrastructure Companies will be preferred.
  • Candidates skilled in AutoCAD, GIS, Photoshop, Sketchup, and Revit.

7. Dy. Engineer (PST)

Qualification:

Full-time Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute/ university/ college.

For Government Sector Employees –

  • Sr. Supervisor having total minimum 05 years of service with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4400 with past experience in the Metro/ Railway Sector from any Private/ Govt. entities in a desirable domain OR
  • Officer currently working in Jr. Scale with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 with minimum 02 years experience in “desirable” domain for the post; OR
  • Total minimum 04 years of experience in Supervisory grade of Rs. 46620 – 89720 in IDA pay scale with minimum 02 years post qualification experience in “desirable” domain for the post; OR
  • Total minimum of 04 years of post-qualification experience in Executive grade in Government entities in the “desirable” domain for the post;

For Private Sector Employees –

9. Dy. Engineer (E&M)

Qualification:

Full-time Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute/ university/ college.

  • Sr. Supervisor having total minimum 05 years of service with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4400 with past experience in the Metro/ Railway Sector from any Private/ Govt. entities in a desirable domain OR
  • Officer currently working in Jr. Scale with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 with minimum 02 years experience in “desirable” domain for the post; OR
  • Total minimum 04 years of experience in Supervisory grade of Rs. 46620 – 89720 in IDA pay scale with minimum 02 years post qualification experience in “desirable” domain for the post; OR
  • Total minimum of 04 years of post-qualification experience in Executive grade in Government entities in the “desirable” domain for the post;

For Private Sector Employees –

Total minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience in the reputed Private sector in Executive grade in the “desirable” domain for the post with minimum CTC of Rs. 06 Lacs.

Desirable:

  • Candidate should have experience working in construction projects of Railways/ Metro/ other PSUs/ Private sector dealing with, MEP/ Lifts/ Escalators/ TVS/ ECS.
  • Adequate experience in supervising MEP/ Lifts/ Escalators/ TVS/ ECS coordination between various contractors at the site.
  • Candidate should be conversant with computerized designing & drawings, the latest MEP/ Lifts/ Escalators/ TVS/ ECS technologies, and should be conversant with the international bidding procedure.
  • Candidate should have exposure to managing and controlling various types of documentation.
  • Candidates with experience working on projects for urban rail systems will be preferred.

10. Assistant Manager (Material Management)

Qualification:

Full-time Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical Engineering from a recognized and reputed university.

Experience:

Essential:

  • Candidates working in Govt. sector / PSUs should have a total minimum of 04 years of post – qualification experience in Supervisory grade of Rs. 35280 – 67920 (W6 Grade) in IDA pay scale or equivalent CDA pay scale of Grade pay Rs. 4200 with minimum 02 years post qualification experience in the “desirable” domain for the post OR
  • Candidate having minimum 04 years of post-qualification Supervisory grade experience in Govt. Metro Rail/ Govt. Organization/ PSUs OR
  • Candidates working in the Private sector should have a total minimum of 05 years of post-qualification experience with a minimum of 02 years in the executive level in the “desirable” domain for the post with a minimum CTC of Rs. 4.5 lacs.

Desirable:

  • Candidates should have experience in Tendering, Quantity Survey, Store Management, Inventories and Procurement of stores items, etc.
  • Candidates having experience in using tender portals like GEM, CPPP and tender wizard etc. for eprocurement and e-tendering.

11. Jr. Engineer- II (Depot, M&P)

Qualification:

Full-time Degree/ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute/university/college.

For Government Employees:

Total minimum of 05 years experience with minimum 02 years of experience in next below grade in IDA Pay Scale of Rs. 34020 – 64310 (W5 Grade) or equivalent CDA scale with past experience of Metro/ Railway Sector of any Private / Govt. Entity in desirable domain after acquiring required qualification.

For Private Sector Employees:

Total minimum of 06 years of post-qualification experience in the reputed private sector in a responsible position in the “desirable” domain for the post with a minimum CTC of Rs. 04 – 05 Lacs.

Desirable:

  • Candidates should have experience working in Railways/Metro/other PSUs /Private sector dealing with rail-based transit systems from the design stage to the commissioning stage including tendering, vendor approval, design finalization, interface with other disciplines, timely execution of works, etc. in the field of Rolling Stock Depot / Depot M & P.
  • Adequate experience in supervising various Depot Machinery and Plant Equipment and coordination between various contractors at the site.
  • Candidates should have exposure to managing and controlling various types of documentation.
  • Candidates with experience in working on projects for urban rail systems will be preferred.

12. Jr. Engineer- II (Rolling Stock)

For Government Employees:

Total minimum of 05 years post qualification experience with a minimum of 02 years of experience in the next below grade in IDA Pay Scale of Rs. 34020 – 64310 (W5 Grade) or equivalent CDA scale with past experience of Metro/ Railway Sector of any Private / Govt. Entity in the desirable domain.

For Private Sector Employees:

Total minimum of 06 years of post-qualification experience in the reputed private sector in a responsible position in the “desirable” domain for the post with a minimum CTC of Rs. 04 – 05 Lacs.

Desirable:

  • Candidates should have experience working in construction projects of Railways/ Metro/ other PSUs/ Private sector dealing with the commissioning of rolling stock and maintenance vehicles
  • Adequate experience in supervising TCMS, traction power, motoring and braking, and coordination between various contractors at the site.
  • Should have exposure to managing and controlling various types of documentation.

Selection Procedure for Mumbai Metro Recruitment 2022:

Candidates applying for the posts mentioned in the advertisement will be called for a Personal Interview. MMRCL reserves the right to shortlist the Candidates for Personal Interviews. The Candidates will be shortlisted for interview, based on their eligibility/ experience in the relevant field. Candidate may be asked to submit any other documents required by the scrutiny committee and he/ she is liable to produce the same. Selection criteria are relaxable for deserving Candidates with very sound backgrounds at the committee’s discretion for Scrutiny/ Selection.

How to Apply for Mumbai Metro Recruitment 2022:

i. Candidates must apply online only through MMRCL’s official website, Careers, MMRCL Recruitment Advertisement 2022-02. (No other modes of application will be accepted).

ii. Candidates are required to have valid personal E-mail ID & Mobile No. It should be kept active during the recruitment process. MMRCL will send intimation of a personal interview and any other information regarding your application only through the registered E-mail ID.

iii. The online registration will remain active from 05th December 2022 at 10:00 Hrs. and will end on 18th January 2023 at 23:59 Hrs. In order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to apply early enough. MMRCL will not be responsible for network problems or any other problem of this nature & non-submission of online applications during the last days due to heavy rush etc.

iv. All the fields in the online application form should be filled up carefully. A preview of the application will be filled in by the candidate before submitting the application so that it can be edited. After submission of the application, no modification will be permitted.

v. Candidates will have to upload scan copy of their updated Resume, passport-size photograph (.jpg/ .jpeg), and recent pay slip in .pdf format along with their application.

vi. Candidates are required to clearly indicate whether they are applying against the vacancy for consideration on a Regular Contract or Deputation basis.

vii. Candidates belonging to Government Sector are required to forward their application in the prescribed format to the postal address given below along with:-

  • The Latest Resume, photograph, all educational qualification certificates, and all work experience certificates,
