NABI Recruitment 2022: National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is an autonomous Institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. NABI aims at catalyzing the transformation of the Agri-food sector in India by being a nodal organization for knowledge generation and translational science leading to value-added products based on AgriFood biotech innovations for improved household nutritional security.

NABI is inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under Generating high-depth genomics information for the Himalaya rice cultivars for improving nutritional quality and stress tolerance (GAP-53) project. There is only 01 vacancy for the post. As per the official notification of NABI recruitment 2022, the age required to apply for the above-mentioned post is 28 years (Relaxation is admissible in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PD and women candidates as per GOI instructions). The monthly remuneration that will be paid is Rs. 31000 for the 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 35000 for the 3rd year.

Job Responsibilities for NABI Recruitment 2022

i. Analysis of next-generation sequence data on genomes and transcriptomes.

ii. Development of Python-based scripts for custom-design sequence data analysis.

iii. Preparation of the progress report and manuscript.

Age for NABI Recruitment 2022:

As per the official notification of NABI recruitment the age required is 28 years (Relaxation is admissible in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PD and women candidates as per GOI instructions).

Remuneration for NABI Recruitment 2022:

According to the official notification of NABI recruitment the monthly remuneration paid is Rs. 31000 + 16% HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 35000 + 16% HRA for 3rd year.

Qualification for NABI Recruitment 2022:

Postgraduate degree in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate in the professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following

i. Scholars are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

ii. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

Experience- Experience in bioinformatics and computational biology next-generation genomic sequence analysis.

Expertise in Python programming, and R-program.
