NCERT Recruitment 2024: New Notification Out for Various Posts, Check Vacancies, Salary, Age, Qualification and How to Apply
NCERT Recruitment 2024: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is looking for highly qualified candidates for the positions of Junior Project Fellow (JPF), Bilingual Translator, and Academic Consultant. According to the official NCERT Recruitment 2024 announcement, there are 30 openings for the aforementioned positions. The individuals selected for the Academic Consultant position will receive an income of Rs.60000 per month, the Bilingual Translator will receive a salary of Rs.30000, and the Junior Project Fellow will receive a salary of Rs.29000 for non-NET applicants and Rs.31000 for NET applicants. The educational requirements are explained below. The candidates must possess a sufficient amount of years of experience in their relevant areas.
The committee will conduct interviews to determine the eligibility of candidates for the NCERT Recruitment 2024, in accordance with the official announcement. The appointment continues until March 31, 2025. The official NCERT Recruitment 2024 notification states that candidates must bring any written or published work they may have (such as artwork, multimedia, graphics, animation, audio, or video advertisements or promotions, books, journals, thesis/ dissertation magazines, etc.) with them. The positions mentioned above are on a temporary basis. The candidates will not receive any TA or DA for taking part in the interview process.

According to the positions, the following educational qualifications and work experience are required to apply for NCERT Recruitment 2024:
Academic Consultant:
The candidates should have a Post-graduation in relevant subjects from a recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
NET/ SET/ SLET Qualified OR exempted from NET as per UGC regulations for Assistant Professor at entry level.
Desirable:
The candidates must have a PhD in a relevant subject.
Good Communication skills in English and Hindi.
Knowledge of Research Methodology – Development of research tools, collection and analysis of data, report writing etc.
Proficient in ET/ ICT skills.
Experience:
The candidates must have at least 03 years of experience working as an academic expert in relevant subject, eContent development/ online course development and management, Teaching relevant subjects at the level of teacher education/ Research in relevant subject/ educational projects at national/ state level in the education sector and experience in Data Handling/ Analysis, Report writing etc.
Bilingual Translator:
The candidates should have a Master’s degree in any language mentioned in the official notification.
English as a subject at the Graduation Level.
Good typing skills in the respective language.
Desirable:
The candidates should have proficiency in both English and the target language. Vice versa for the applicant for English.
M.Phil/ Ph.D in specific language.
A degree in Education (M.Ed./M.A. Education) from a recognised University.
At least 2 years of experience working as a translator in educational projects at the national/state level in the education sector.
Junior Project Fellow (JPF):
The candidates should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University/ Institute in a relevant or allied subject with 55% marks or equivalent Grade.
Desirable:
The candidates should have a Diploma in any one Schedule VIII language or as a subject at the graduation level.
Knowledge of Research Methodology – Development of research tools, collection and analysis of data, report writing etc.
Good command of English and Hindi for oral and written communication; good interpersonal skills, proficiency in working with computers – word processing, spreadsheet, presentation etc.
Interviews will be held by NCERT Recruitment 2024 to select the qualified applicants for the positions mentioned above.

The candidates have to visit the interview venue with copies of original certificates and testimonials for verification. Latecomers will not be entertained by the committee.
The NCERT Recruitment 2024 official notification states that eligible candidates may directly appear for the committee’s interview on May 10, 11, and 13, 2024, according to the positions. The candidates have to be present at the interview venue by the reporting time, if not earlier. As requested by the committee, candidates are required to present any relevant documents to the interview venue.
