NDMA recruits applicants for the Senior Consultant (Disaster Data Base) position on a contractual basis for 1 year which will be extended up to a maximum of another 02 years based on the candidate’s performance. There is only 01 vacancy

Age Limit for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

The maximum age limit for the above-mentioned post is 50 years and for the retired Govt. officer the maximum age is 65 years with a grade pay of level 13.

Qualification for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

The qualification for the Senior consultant position is given below.

Essential Qualification:

• Candidate should have either Master’s degree in Social Sciences or Disaster Management or Computer Applications (MCA) related discipline with a strong background in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Disaster Management, GIS, or any other related discipline.
• Or candidate should have a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Engineering (B.E) in Computer Science Or Information Technology with a strong background in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, and Economics.

Desirable Qualification:

• A person with Technical education (as defined by All India Council for Technical Education -AICTE). M. Phil and Ph.D. (in ORR-related fields) in the relevant fields or Research experience, published papers, and post-qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred. Ph.D. in an ORR-related field and from a reputed university shall be given additional weightage.
• Candidates must have a sound understanding and knowledge of issues relating to data management.

Salary for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidates will get a salary between Rs. 125000 to Rs. 175000 per month.

Experience for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

Candidates should have at least 5-10 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in managing/dealing with data related to Disaster Management.

Desirable Experience:

• The applicant should have worked with a government agency, a leading regional/ international organization, or a public sector agency.
• The applicant should have been involved in multi-stakeholder coordination and worked on data analysis.
• The applicant should have experience in setting up databases.

Note:
Retired Govt. employees should have at least 7+ years of experience in the relevant fields.
