NEET MDS Counselling Date 2024:

Counselling dates for NEET MDS 2024 are currently tentative. A separate guidebook including the NEET MDS counselling dates and procedures will be released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.

Tie Breaking Policy for NEET MDS 2024:

The merit position will be decided using the following tie-breaker criteria, which are listed in descending order if two or more students receive the same score.

• Candidate merit rank will first be improved for those with fewer erroneous replies in Parts A and B of the entire paper.
• Candidates with better merit positions will be those who score higher on Part B of the exam.
• Students with fewer wrong answers in Part B of the exam will be assigned a higher merit position if the tie still exists.
• Finally, applicants who are older will be considered for a merit post.

Admission Procedure  for NEET MDS Counselling 2024:

The following will be admitted to NEET MDS Counselling in 2024:

• Every India 50% Quota Seats: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of the Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India, will provide counselling to all candidates belonging to the India Reserved Category. The MCC’s decision-making will be based exclusively on the NEET MDS 2024 result.
• State Quota Seats: The assigned Counseling Authority of each State or Union Territory shall handle the reservation of NEET MDS seats in the states of India. Based on the findings of the NEET MDS, they would be in charge of arranging counselling sessions under the State Quota. When assigning seats under this category, the counselling committee will take into account the qualifying requirements, applicable rules, guidelines, and applicable reservation policies.
• Admission to Private Dental Colleges, Institutes, Universities, and Deemed Universities: Based on NEET MDS scores, candidates falling into this category will have their seats for NEET MDS 2024 assigned to them through counseling sessions facilitated by the respective counseling authority of these Private Colleges, Institutes, Universities, and Deemed Universities. The reservation policy, eligibility requirements, and other applicable regulations shall all be followed when assigning seats.
• Admission to Military Medical Service Facilities Armed Forces Medical Service Institution admissions counseling is handled by The Army Dental Corps, Ministry of Defense, Government of India, using the NEET-MDS.

The minimum qualifying score for candidates in the general category is 50%, while OBC, SC, and ST candidates must receive 40% of the possible points to meet the NBE’s selection requirements. It is mandatory for all eligible applicants to possess the original documents listed below:

• Scorecard for NEET MDS 2024
• Mark sheet for BDS first, second, and third year exams; NEET MDS 2024 Admit Card
• Qualification exam certificate, or BDS degree certificate
• Permanent or provisional certificate from the Dental Council or DCI Certificate of completion of internship from the Institution Head 10th standard certificate as confirmation of identity
• Physically handicapped medical certificate, if necessary; valid government identity documents (driver’s license, PAN card, voter ID, passport, or Aadhar card).

A list containing the candidate category, name, allotted college, All India Rank, and remarks are released along with the NEET MDS Seat Allotment result. The NEET MDS 2024 allotment letter must be downloaded by the chosen students. To finish the admissions procedure, you must provide the list of documents and the allotment letter to the designated institute.
