NEET-PG 2024 Successfully Organised in Mid-August: Sources

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Post Graduate (NEET-PG) 2024 was successfully organised on August 11, 2024, sources said. A meeting was organised in the Union home ministry on Monday, in which various officers from various departments like the health ministry, National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), technical partner Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Cyber Cell officials discussed the various aspects of NEET-PG 2024, the exam was organised in online mode. The meeting was organised to check the “robustness” of the exam conducting system. which is already organised. “It was learnt that the TCS top brass briefed the meeting about the various aspects of the exam procedure.”

Earlier the Sources said, “Besides the NEET-PG, the meeting was held to evaluate the robustness of the system for the conduct of the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination, which is scheduled for July 6“. On June 22, 2024, the Union Health Ministry postponed the date for the NEET-PG entrance examination 2024 due to the allegations on the integrity of certain competitive exams the authority scheduled the examination for June 23, 2024, as the “precautionary measure”. The Health Minister earlier said that it will organise a thorough assessment of the NEET-PG robustness processes, conducted by the NBEMS along with its technical partner TCS for medical students.
