NEET PG Exam 2024: The NEET PG 2024 exam has been successfully conducted on August 11, 2024. Two shifts of the exam were held at 416 centres spread over 170 cities. With the combination of the two shifts, shift one was from 9 AM to 12:30 PM and the second was from 3:30 PM to 7 PM. 2,16,136 candidates took the exam. 1,08,177 candidates were from shift two, and 1,07,959 candidates were from shift one. As per media reports the overall NEET PG 2024 exam was considered moderately difficult. Maximum candidates could attend 185 to 195 questions.

Some questions were too lengthy and most students faced difficulty in selecting the correct option and eliminating the incorrect ones, many attempted incorrectly. In the exam maximum questions were image-based and some were one-liners (10% of the paper). Major questions were from essential topics, mostly clinical-based questions. This provided an advantage to medical practising candidates as they are usually mastered at clinical-based questions.
