NEET UG 2024 Counselling: MCC Encourages Medical Colleges to Enter Seats
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has encouraged medical colleges to enter the seats. This will be done on the official website for the NEET UG 2024 Counselling process. On the NEET UG exam matter, the next hearing will be on July 18, 2024. The medical institutes participating in the NEET UG 2024 Counselling can upload the seat lists to the portal by July 20, 2024. Candidates are eagerly waiting for the judgement on the retesting and cancellation of the NEET UG Exams.
“Institutes participating in UG Counselling 2024 are hereby informed that the intra-MCC portal for the contribution of UG seats is open now. Hence, institutes are requested to start entering their seats on the portal at the earliest so that the process of seats contribution can be completed timely,” disclosed in the notice issued on July 15, 2024.
Moreover, it is stated that the user ID or password for entering the seats on the portal will be the same as earlier. “In case the candidate has forgotten their password, he/she can use the Forgot Password option and change their password,” it said.

The AIR Merit List of the qualified candidates will be prepared based on the All India Rank (AIR) in the merit list of NEET UG 2024. The candidates would be admitted to undergraduate medical courses as per the merit list only, with the existing reservation policy. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will provide the All India Rank to candidates, while the authorities will invite applications for counselling and a merit list will be made on the basis of the AIR. Admission to undergraduate medical courses in the categories will be based on the All India Rank as per the merit list of NEET UG 2024.
