NEET (UG) 2024: Extension of Registration Window by NTA

In response to stakeholders’ representations and directives from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the National Medical Commission, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to extend the registration window for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET (UG)) 2024. NEET (UG) 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM, across the country and in 14 cities outside India in Pen & paper (offline) mode. Initially, the registration for the online application forms commenced on February 9, 2024. However, considering the requests and directives received, the registration window is being extended.

Important Dates for NEET (UG) 2024:

Last Date for receiving online Application Forms: March 16, 2024, up to 10:50 PM.

Last Date for receiving fees online: March 16, 2024, up to 11:50 PM.

Exam Date: May 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM

Steps to Apply for NEET UG 2024:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA NEET (neet.nta.nic.in).

Step 2: Click on the NEET UG Exam 2024 registration link on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your details and complete the registration process.

Step 4: Log in to your account using the credentials you created.

Step 5: Fill out the application form with accurate information.

Step 6: Pay the application fee according to your category.

Step 7: After completing the form, click on submit.

Step 8: Download and save the filled application form for future reference.

The notification further clarifies that there will be no changes in the exam pattern and conditions, except for the syllabus, which will remain the same as NEET (UG) 2023. Candidates are urged to take advantage of this one-time opportunity and submit their online application forms accordingly, as there will be no further chances provided for NEET (UG) 2024.
