Income Tax Department raids offices and homes of Pushpa 2 and Game Changer Producers in Hyderabad The Income Tax Department raided the offices and houses of Dil Raju, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, and Naveen Yerneni, all producers from Hyderabad on Tuesday. These producers have recently invested in Game Changer, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, and Pushpa 2: The Rule. According to sources, raids were carried out at eight separate locations in Hyderabad, including the producers' homes and offices, as well as an online platform. Raju, born Velamkucha Venkata Ramana Reddy, is a well-known Telugu cinema producer and distributor. He is the owner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The Telangana Film Development Corporation's chairman has recently been selected by the state government. Ravi and Naveen own Mythri Movie Makers and are also well-known in the film industry. These raids follow the success of Raju's Sankranthiki Vasthunam, starring Venkatesh, and Ravi and Naveen's Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun. Raju has recently produced the Ram Charan-starring film Game Changer, which received lukewarm reviews. All three films were recently released, with Pushpa 2: The Rule and Game Changer being produced on large budgets. According to sources, the raids were done to investigate alleged tax evasion and tax official are verifying the documents, although more information is expected. The IT department has yet to issue a statement about the matter. According to Sacnilk, Pushpa 2: The Rule has made Rs.1228.25 crore net in India and Rs.1734.65 crore globally since its December 5 release. Game Changer has made Rs.125.4 crore net in India and Rs.179.55 crore worldwide since its January 10 premiere. Sankranthiki Vastunam grossed approximately Rs.122.78 crore net in India since its premiere on January 14.
