The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 tomorrow. Candidates who are willing to appear in the medical entrance exam for undergraduate (UG) courses have limited time (till 10:50 pm on March 16, 2024) to register for the same. The payment window will be open until 11:50 pm on March 16, 2024.

The application fee for candidates from the general category and NRI is Rs 1,700. Although the application fee for candidates in the General-EWS/OBC/NCL category is Rs 1,600, the application fee for candidates appearing in the SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender category is Rs 1,000. Information about the opening of the correction window and the release of admit cards will be announced later.

The registration started on February 9, 2024 and the previous deadline was decided on March 9, 2024. However, the dates for registration for NEET UG 2024 were extended by the NTA after receiving so many requests from stakeholders regarding the extension of the registration window for NEET UG 2024.

The National Eligibility and Entrance Test 2024 (NEET) UG 2024 will be conducted on May 5, 2024, by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Exam timings are from 2:00 pm to 5:20 pm. The exam is conducted in 14 cities across the country and outside India.

Documents required for completing the application process are:

1. Postcard-size photo
2. Scanned images of the candidate’s recent passport-size photo.
3. The recent photograph should be either in color or black and white, with 80% of the face (without mask) visible, including ears, against a white background.
4. Signature, left and right-hand fingers and thumb impression.
5. Category certificate (if applicable),
6. Citizenship certificate (if applicable), PwBD certificate (where applicable) and address proof (present and permanent address).
