NEET UG 2025: NEET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key OUT, Challenge Window to Close Tomorrow at neet.nta.nic.in
NEET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) administered the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 on May 4, 2025, in single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM at 5,453 centres in over 500 cities across the country. Over 22.7 lakh candidates registered for the NEET UG 2025.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2025 on June 03, 2025. Along with the release of the answer key, the authority has also released the scanned images of the OMR answer sheet and recorded responses. Candidates who this year appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 can access answer key at the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who are dissatisfied with the answer key can raise objections against it using the challenge window by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 200 per objection raised. NEET UG 2025 Objection Fee can be submitted using means such as Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. The NEET UG 2025 objection window was commenced on June 3, 2025, and will conclude on June 5, 2025, at 11:50 PM. No challenge will be granted after this deadline. Objections are only acceptable online at the official website, no other mode will be entertained.
Once the NEET UG 2025 objection window is closed, experts will examine the raised objections and accordingly release the NEET UG 2025 final answer key, after implementing suitable changes into it.
Using the NEET UG 2025 provisional answer key, candidates can make an estimation of the marks they can achieve in the NEET UG 2025, using the formula- Total Marks = (No. of Correct Answers × 4) – (No. of Incorrect Answers × 1).
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official notification stating, “The payment of the processing fee may be made through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking by 05 June 2025 (upto 11:50 P.M.). No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The Challenges will not be accepted through any other mode of communication.”
Further stated, “Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Provisional Answer Key will be revised. The responses will be evaluated based on the final answer key and will be used in preparing and declaring the result. No candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of her/his challenge. The key finalised by the experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after 05 June 2025 (upto 11:50 P.M.).“
