NEET UG 2025: NTA Asked NEET UG Aspirants to Update Aadhar Details for NEET UG 2025 Examination

NEET UG 2025: National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken the responsibility to administer the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG) 2025 exam this year. The National Testing Agency (NTA) this year aims to ensure transparency for all the NEET UG 2025 examination aspirants.

It is necessary to guarantee the integration of NEET (UG)-2025 with the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR ID). Candidates are urged to use their APAAR ID and Aadhaar-based authentication throughout the application and testing processes in order to further this goal. In order to improve the integrity of the examination process and facilitate the verification and registration procedure, it is strongly advised that credentials be kept up to date.

In accordance with the instructions released by the Dept of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, “Integration of APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) with NEET (UG) -2025 is to be ensured. To support this objective, candidates are encouraged to use their APAAR ID as well as Aadhaar-based authentication during the application and examination process. Updated credentials are highly recommended for ease of verification, registration process and to enhance the integrity of the examination process.”

• The official notification states that the NEET UG 2025 exam registrations are to begin soon in due course of time.

Candidates are being asked to update essential credentials in their Aadhaar card, as per their Class Marksheet/Passing Certificate and also ensure their Aadhaar card is linked with a valid mobile number as it is necessary for OTP-based authentication.

• Aadhaar card is necessary because, with advancements in Aadhaar-based technology, such as the Face Authentication Method introduced by UIDAI, candidates can now benefit from faster identity verification tools.

• The aadhaar card helps in a faster attendance verification process, and facial recognition enables quicker and more accurate identity verification, ensuring a smooth entry into the exam hall.

Welfare of Candidates:

• Aadhaar authentication makes the process simpler and ensures candidates are uniquely identified, safeguarding their interests throughout the examination lifecycle.

What Candidates Should Do:

• Aspirants are advised to ensure that their Aadhaar details especially their Name and Date of Birth (as per the 10th Passing certificate, including facial recognition data, are up to date in their Aadhaar card for an optimal experience during the registration process and verification processes. This can be done at the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Center.
