As mentioned in the official notification of NHAI Recruitment 2023, NHAI invites applications for recruitment to the General Manager(Technical), Deputy General Manager (Technical), Manager (Technical) and Junior Hindi Translator. There are a total of 62 vacancies available for the mentioned positions.

Essential Qualification for NHAI Recruitment 2023:

The essential qualifications for applying for NHAI Recruitment 2023 are given below-

For General Manager (Technical)-

• The candidates must have a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.

For Deputy General Manager (Technical)-

• The candidate must have a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

For Manager (Technical)-

• The candidate must have a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

For Junior Hindi Translator-

• The candidate must have a Master’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level. OR
• The candidate must have a Master’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than. Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level.  OR

• The candidate should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.    AND

• The candidate must have a recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-a-versa or 03 years experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government offices, including Government of India undertaking.

Desirable-

• The candidate must know the level of Matriculation of a recognized Board or the equivalent of one of the languages other than Hindi mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution. OR
• The candidate must have a Degree or Diploma in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from a recognized University.

Required Experience for NHAI Recruitment 2023:

As informed by the official notification of NHAI Recruitment 2023, candidates must have the following required experience-

For General Manager (Technical)-

• Candidates should have 14 years’ experience in Group A service out of which 9 year’s experience in the implementation of Infrastructure sector Projects related to National/ State Highways.

For Deputy General Manager (Technical)-

• Candidates should have 06 years’ experience in the implementation of Infrastructure Sector Projects related to Highways Roads and Bridges.

For Manager (Technical)-

• Candidates should have 03 years’ experience in implementation of Infrastructure Sector Projects related to Highways, Roads and Bridges.

Age Limit for NHAI Recruitment 2023:

To apply for NHAI Recruitment 2023, candidates’s maximum age limit for the mentioned posts does not exceed 56 years.

Salary for NHAI Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of NHAI Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary between Pay Level 6 and Pay Level 13 according to the positions.

Tenure for NHAI Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of NHAI Recruitment 2023, the appointment is based on a deputation basis and the selected candidates for the post of General Manager (Technical) will be appointed for a period of 3 years which may be extended for another 01 year and candidates selected for rest of the other posts will be appointed for a period of 03 years which may be extended for another 02 years with the approval of Chairman, NHAI. Further extension beyond 5th year and up to a maximum of 10 years shall be with the approval of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways subject to satisfactory performance.
