Nationals Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is recruiting candidates for the post of General Manager(Technical), Deputy General Manager (Technical), Manager (Technical) and Junior Hindi Translator posts on a Deputation basis. The number of open seats for the indicated post is 62.

Tenure for NHAI Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of NHAI Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be selected for a three-year term that can be extended for another two years with the approval of the Chairman of the NHAI.

Qualification for NHAI Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the NHAI Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications.

General Manager(Technical)
Candidate should have a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

Deputy General Manager (Technical)
Candidate should have a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

Manager (Technical)
Candidate should have a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute

Junior Hindi Translator

• Candidate should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level;
  OR
• Master’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than. Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level.
  OR
• Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level;
  AND
• Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-a-versa or three years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government offices, including Government of India undertaking.

Desirable

• Knowledge at the level of Matriculation of a recognized Board or the equivalent of one of the languages other than Hindi mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
  OR
• Degree or Diploma in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from a recognized University

Age Limit for NHAI Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NHAI Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit for the aforementioned post should not exceed 56 years.

General Manager(Technical)
Candidate should have at least 14 years experience in Group A service out of which 9 years experience in implementation of Infrastructure Sector Projects related to National / State Highways.

Deputy General Manager (Technical)
Candidate should have at least Six years of experience in the implementation of Infrastructure Sector Projects related to Highways Roads and Bridges.

Manager (Technical)
Candidate should have at least Three years of experience in the implementation of Infrastructure Sector Projects related to Highways, Roads and Bridges.

Salary for NHAI Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of NHAI Recruitment 2023,  candidates applying for General Manager(Technical) post will get a remuneration between Rs.123100 to Rs.215900 with Grade pay of Rs.8700, Deputy General Manager (Technical) post will get a remuneration between Rs.78800 to Rs.209200 with Grade pay of Rs.7600, Manager (Technical) post will get a remuneration between Rs.67700 to Rs.208700 with Grade pay of Rs.6600 and Junior Hindi Translator post will get a remuneration between Rs.35400 to Rs.112400 with a Grade pay of Rs.4200.
