NIA Recruitment 2023: National Investigation Agency (NIA) Branch office, in Chandigarh, is hiring retired Police officers/officials and the state government of Central for the post of Investigation Expert (Consultant) on a contract basis for a tenure of 01 year which can be extended up to 05 years. As mentioned in the Official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, there are 03 vacancies for the given post. The selected candidates will get a monthly salary as per MHA OM dated: 09-12-2020 remuneration will be fixed by deducting their basic pension from the last pay drawn at the time of retirement (last pay drawn- basic pension remuneration).
As per the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the maximum age of applicants to apply for the Assistant Sub-Inspector should not extend beyond 65 years. Interested and Eligible candidates may appear for a ‘Walk-In-Interview’ at NIA BO Chandigarh Community Center, Model Jail, Sector-51, Chandigarh on 22 & 23rd May 2023 at 11 am along with filled up proforma given in the official Notification along with all the relevant documents. As mentioned in the Official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, applicants will be hired on a contract basis for a tenure of 01 year which can be extended up to 05 years or the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
According to the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the candidate must be a graduate. Candidates must have at least ten years of experience in criminal investigation, intelligence work, or counter-terrorism. Retired Inspectors, Dy. SP, Addi SP, and SP or equivalent level officers of central police organizations such as CBI, NCB, IB, Cabinet Secretariat, NTRO, Customs, Income Tax, ORI, and State Police are eligible.
As per the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the maximum age of applicants to apply for the Assistant Sub-Inspector should not extend beyond 65 years.

No, any other allowances will be applicable. However, TA/DA will be permissible on official tours.
