By Deputation (ISTC) Basis:
Specific Requirement: The Officers under the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration/Duly Recognized Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings/ Semi-Government/Autonomous/Statutory Organizations
A-i) holding Analogous Posts on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department/Organization; Or
ii) with 06-Years’ Regular Service in the Grade in Pay Level 05 (29200-92300) of the Pay Matrix Or Equivalent; With
B) Educational Qualifications and Experience; viz.,
Relevant Experience and in the Pay Matrix Levels prescribed.
Educational Qualification: Having Successfully completed the Training in Cash and Accounts Course conducted by the Institute of Secretariat and Management; With
Experience: 02 Years’ Professional Experience in Cash, Accounts, and Budget Work.
Selection for Appointment on the Technical Assistant (Accounts) shall be carried conducted by Deputation (Including Short Term Contract) involving an Interview.
By Absorption: The Officers of Central Government Or State Governments Or Union Territory Administration shall be Eligible to be considered for Appointment on Absorption Basis. However the Period of Deputation stands Extendable in accordance with the DoPT (Department of Personnel & Training) Guidelines.
The Period of Deputation (Including Short-Term Contractual) Basis Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed 03 Years for Technical Assistant (Accounts) notified. However, the Deputation Tenure of the UPSC Technical Assistant (Accounts) stands Extendable according to the DoPT (Department of Personnel & Training) Guidelines.
The Pay and other Terms and Conditions of Deputation of the Officer(s) selected, will be regulated in accordance with the Provisions contained in the DoPT (Department of Personnel & Training) Office Memorandum Number 06/08/2009-Establishment (Pay-II) Dated 17.06.2010, and Office Memorandum No. 02/11/2017-Establishment (Pay-II) Dated 24.11.2017 and 15.03.2021 as amended from to time.
