As mentioned in the official notification of NIA recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit is 56 years. 

Salary for NIA Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NIA recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of upto Rs. 177500.

Technical Forensic Psychologist, Finger Print Expert, Explosive Expert, Cyber Forensic Examiner and Biology Expert- The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of upto Rs. 177500.

Crime Scene Assistant- The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of upto Rs. 142400.

Photographer- The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of upto Rs. 112400.

Eligibility Criteria for NIA Recruitment 2023:

The given below is the eligibility criteria for NIA Recruitment 2023.

Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or recognised research institutions or Universities or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisation:

1- Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

2- With two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300- 34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4800 or equivalent in the parent cadre department; or

3- With three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300- 34800 plus Grade pay of Rs. 4600 or equivalent in department; and the parent cadre or

Qualification for NIA Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for NIA recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-

For Technical Forensic Psychologists- Master’s degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology regular course from a recognized University.

For Finger Print, Expert- M.Sc. Degree in any Science subject or M.Sc. in Forensic Science or B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized University.

For Explosive Expert- Master’s degree in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at B.Sc. Level from a recognized University.

For Cyber Forensic Examiner- Bachelor’s degree of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Master’s Degree in Computer Application/ Computer Science or Information Technology or Master of Technology in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized University.

For Biology Expert- M.Sc. Degree in Human Biology/ Microbiology/ Zoology/ Anthropology (Physical)/ Botany or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Biology/ Zoology as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University.

Tenure for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of NIA recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a deputation basis for a maximum period of 3 years. 

Place of Posting for NIA Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of NIA recruitment 2023, the place of posting will be Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Chennai, Ranchi, Imphal, Bengaluru, Patna, Bhopal, Ahmendabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Jammu, Raipur and Bhubaneshwar.
