National Investigation Agency is seeking applications from suitable candidates for the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. Spl). There are 21 vacancies open for NIA Recruitment 2023.

Qualification and Experience for NIA Recruitment 2023:

To Apply for NIA Recruitment 2023, the candidate must have the required qualifications and experience as described below-

For Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP)-

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• The applicant must have 5 years of experience in handling cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work including counter-terrorism operations or imparting training in counter-terrorism.

For Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. Spl)-

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• The candidate should have 3 years of experience in handling cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work including counter-terrorism operations or imparting training in counter-terrorism.

Salary for NIA Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidates for NIA Recruitment 2023 will get a monthly compensation as given below-

• The selected candidates for the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) will get a monthly compensation on Pay Matrix Level – 11 (Rs 67,700 2,08,700) (Pre-revised Pay Band-3 (Rs 15,600- 39,100/-) with Grade Pay Rs 6600/-).
• The selected candidates for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. Spl) will get a monthly compensation on Pay Matrix Level 10 (Rs.56,100/- to 1,77,500/- (Pre-revised pay scale -Pay Band-3 (Rs.15,600-39,100/-) with Grade Pay Rs.5400/-).

Tenure for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a deputation/absorption basis and the candidates who are selected will be appointed for a period of 03 years. The place of posting will be All India.

Eligibility Criteria for NIA Recruitment 2023:

The required eligibility criteria for applying to NIA Recruitment 2023 are mentioned below-

For Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP)-

Officers of the Central Government or the State Government or the Union Territories-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• With 5 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the PB-3 (Rs 15,600-39,100) with GP Rs 5400 or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department.

For Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. Spl)-

Officers of the Central Government or the State Government or the Union Territories-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• With 2 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in a post in the Pay Band-2 (Rs 9300-34800) with Grade Pay Rs 4800 or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department. OR
• With 3 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in the Pay Band-2 (Rs 9300-34800) with Grade Pay Rs 4600 or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department.

According to the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, eligible and desirous candidates should obtain the prescribed format from the official website of NIA and send the same duly filled application form along with the required documents to the SP (Adm.).NIA HQ, opposite CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before the due date. No online mode of application will be accepted.

The last date for submitting the application form is 02 months from 23.11.2023. Application received after the due date will be summarily REJECTED.
