Qualification for NIA Recruitment 2024:

Candidates applying for the NIA Recruitment 2024 must have the following qualifications

Technical Forensic Psychologist

• Applicant with a Master’s degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology regular course from a recognised University.
• Candidate with 03 years experience in applied Psychology or Criminology / Crime Investigation.

Desirable

• Candidate with a Doctorate Degree in Psychology from a recognized University.
• Aspirants with 03 years of experience in practising clinical psychology.
• Candidate should have an M. Phil in Clinical Psychology; or PG Diploma in Forensic Psychology; or
• Candidate should have a M. Phil in Forensic Psychology.

Explosive Exert

• Applicant with a Master’s degree in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of – the subjects at B. Sc. Level from a recognised university.
• Applicant with 05 years’ experience in the examination of explosives and fire arms.

Desirable

• Candidate with a Doctorate Degree in Chemistry.

Eligibility for NIA Recruitment 2024:

The following eligibility requirements must be met by applicants for the NIA Recruitment 2024.

Technical Forensic Psychologist

Officers under the Central Government/ State Government or Universities / recognised Research Institutions / Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings / Semi-Government, Statutory or Autonomous Organisation:

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department, or
• Candidate with two years’ service in the grade on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2, Pay Scale of Rs. 9300 to Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800 or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department.

Explosive Exert

Officers under the Central Government / State ■Government / Universities/ recognised Research Institutions / Union Territories / Public Sector Undertakings / Semi-Government, Statutory or Autonomous Organisation:

• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department, or
• Candidate with two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2, Pay Scale of Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department; or
• Candidate with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the posts in the Pay Band- 2, Pay Scale of Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade pay Rs. 4600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/department
