Overview:

Nike is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting – at their Karnataka, India location. This role directly reports to Manager – Controller, India. In addition to working closely with the SEA&I and India Finance team, you will also work closely with our broader Nike India team. Effective and timely communication between Nike India, SEA&I, teams and business partners are a critical piece to this role, and this will give you a great opportunity to learn our end to end business process with broader business key stakeholders. You will also interact with various service providers who we partner with in driving various initiatives or audit

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, with CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification
• 4+ years of progressive experience with public accounting firms and/or multi-national companies desired
• Knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP and SOX required
• Experience with SAP is preferred

• Ability to translate business requirements into operationalization with considerations for financial risks and controls across end-to-end processes.
• Demonstrate good communication and influencing skills on complex accounting requirements.
• Proven track record of working independently, leading and prioritizing against multiple priorities, while delivering results with high quality.
