Overview:

Uber is hiring an experienced Data Solution Analyst II, Uber Advertising at their Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Chennai, Pune and Vishakhapatnam locations. In this role as Senior Data Solutions Analyst, you will help build our analytics infrastructure and tools to make advertising data accessible, reliable, and scalable to empower our sales, sales operations, product strategy, Uber Advertising leadership, and advertiser partners. You will quickly build relationships and tools with technical team members and non-technical stakeholders to scale Uber Advertising operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal candidate should be able to:

• Own end-to-end data solution development leveraging strategic technical-, business-, product-, and project- management skills and experience
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, data scientists, applied scientists, insights managers, and operations specialists to understand backend data generation
• Translate
• Develop and own data architecture, pipelines, and SoT analytics tables to high quality standards
• Design framework to monitor, maintain, optimize, and update ETL jobs and API data integrations from 1st and 3rd parties
• Build internal reporting suite in Tableau to support self-service analysis on platform trends, market opportunities, engagement forecasting, campaign performance, and more
• Prototype external-facing insights product powering advertiser decision-making and driving top-line growth directly
• Build and implement scripts in Python to automate reporting / business processes in a scalable manner, to support business intelligence needs
• Program manage our external contractors to ensure high quality project implementation

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Sciences, or related field
• 3+ years work experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data science at a data-driven, tech savvy company
• Advanced level of SQL and ETL skills; experience in optimizing complex SQL queries and ETL jobs
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data pipeline development and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
• 3+ years of experience with dashboarding tool (Looker, Tableau)
• 2+ years of experience with Python
• Experience managing the design and implementation of complex cross-team projects
• Demonstrated success in solving complex data / technical problems in more than one technical or functional area
• Confidence in working in fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills to convey complex technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• High standards and a bias to action
• Prior experience collaborating with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data Science.
