NIT Recruitment 2022: National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor (Grade I and II). There are 08 vacancies for the given post. The appointment is for a period of 1 year which may be extended depending on the performance during the first year. Candidates applying for NIT recruitment 2022 will be given a monthly remuneration in pay level 10/12 respectively.
Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of NIT Uttarakhand. After submitting the application form online, a pdf output generated application form should be sent by post along with self-attested copies of all documents to The Registrar National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand Srinagar Campus Govt. I.T.I. Srinagar (Garhwal) Distt. Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand-246174, INDIA. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written tests and interviews. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through e-mail. Candidates have to pay Rs. 1000 as an application fee. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/Divyaang have to pay Rs. 500.

Tenure- The appointment is for a period of 1 year which may be extended depending on the performance during the first year.
Candidates applying for NIT recruitment 2022 will be given a monthly remuneration in pay level 10/12 respectively.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree with a consistently good academic record.
The specific requirement for Assistant Professor Grade I- Three years after Ph.D. or six years of teaching and research experience in reputed academic institutes, Research & Development labs, or relevant Industries.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written tests/interviews and presentations.
All the candidates appearing for the Personal Interview will have to make a presentation of 10 minutes presentation on a topic relevant to the specialization applied for and also a brief presentation about the research project they wish to work on if selected. Candidate can select the topic of his/her own choice and is expected to come prepared for the presentation. Facilities like LCD projector, White Board shall be provided.
Shortlisted candidates shall be called by e-mail, for a Seminar/presentation/Personal Interview. A list of the shortlisted candidates will be available on Institute’s website.
