NTPC Recruitment 2022: NTPC Limited is India’s largest integrated energy company with 70,254 MW and has a presence in the entire value chain of the power generation business. Commensurate with our country’s growth challenges, NTPC has embarked upon an ambitious plan to attain a total installed capacity of 130 GW by 2032. NTPC is looking for eligible candidates for the post of General Manager (Safety) for mining areas.

General Manager (Safety)

Graduate in Mining Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Coal.
Experience Profile– Minimum 23 years of post-qualification experience in the executive cadre in coal mining operations. The candidate must have experience in opencast mining operations and at least 03 years of relevant experience in mine safety functions.
Experience Requirement- Minimum 23 years of post-qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./Public Sector Undertaking or Private company of repute, out of which either
i. 10 years experience in the post and scale of Rs. 1,00,000-2,60,000 or above (IDA pay scale of E7 grade or above of NTPC effective from 01.01.2017) OR
ii. Minimum 05 years experience in the post and scale of Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000 or above (IDA pay scale of E8 grade or above of NTPC effective from 01.01.2017) or equivalent level/post profile.
