Oil India Recruitment 2023 for 39 Vacancies: Check Posts,  Eligibility, and Interview Details

Oil India RecruitLimitment 2023: Oil India is hiring candidates for the Drilling/ Workover Operator, Drilling/ Workover Mechanic, Drilling/Workover Assistant Operator, and Drilling/ Workover Assistant Mechanic posts on a contractual basis. As per the official notification of Oil India Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 39 vacancies for these posts. The age limit is between 18 years to 50 years.

The above engagements will be purely on a contractual basis and the contractual period will be for a maximum of Six months only. As per Oil India Recruitment 2023 Notification, interested candidates can go for the walk-in-Interview from 30 January 2023 to 3 February 2023 at the Employee Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan, Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam.

Post Name for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

Oil India Limited intends to hire candidates for the following posts:

1. Contractual Drilling/ Workover Operator – 04

2. Contractual Drilling/ Workover Mechanic – 04

3. Drilling/ Workover Assistant Operator – 21

4. Contractual Drilling/ Workover Assistant Mechanic – 10

There are 39 vacancies for the Posts in total.

Age Limit for OIL India Recruitment 2023:

For Contractual Drilling/ Workover Operator

As per the Oil India Recruitment 2023 notification, the minimum age of the candidate to be appointed to the Post of Contractual Drilling/ Workover Operator shall be above 18 years and not below 45 years for the general category, not below 48 years for OBC-NCL, and not below 50 years for the ST category candidates.

For Contractual Drilling/ Workover Mechanic:

The minimum age of the candidate to be appointed to the Post of Contractual Drilling/ Workover Mechanic shall be above 18 years and not below 45 years for the general category, not below 48 years for OBC-NCL, and not below 50 years for the ST category candidates.

For Drilling/ Workover Assistant Operator:

The minimum age of the candidate to be appointed to the Post of Drilling/ Workover Assistant Operator shall be above 18 years and not below 40 years for the general category, not below 43 years for OBC-NCL, and not below 45 years for the SC/ST category candidates.

For Contractual Drilling/ Workover Assistant Mechanic:

The minimum age of the candidate to be appointed to the Post of Contractual Drilling/ Workover Assistant Mechanic shall be above 18 years and not below 45 years for the general category, not below 48 years for OBC-NCL, and not below 50 years for the SC/ST category candidates.

Eligibility for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

For Contractual Drilling/ Workover Operator:

(i) Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.

(ii) Trade certificate in Diesel Mechanic / Fitter / Electrician / Turner/Machinist Trade from Government Recognized Institute.

(iii) Minimum 05 (Five) years post qualification work experience in Drilling / Workover activities like Drilling / Workover operation, able to operate brake during any workover operation, rig down & rig up operation, raising & lowering of workover mast, rig floor operations like making & lowering BHA, tripping in/tripping out tubular, etc. Or

(i) Bachelor’s degree in Science Stream from Government Recognized University.

(ii) Minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification work experience in Drilling / Workover activities like Drilling / Workover operation, able to operate brake during any workover operation, raising & lowering of workover mast, rig floor operations like making & lowering BHA, tripping in/tripping out tubular, etc.
Or

(i) Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.

(ii) 03 (Three) years Diploma in any Engineering discipline from Government Recognized Polytechnic.

(iii) Minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification work experience in Drilling / Workover activities like Drilling / Workover operation, able to operate brake during any workover operation, raising & lowering of workover mast, rig floor operations like making & lowering BHA, tripping in/tripping out tubular, etc.

For Contractual Drilling/ Workover Mechanic:

(i) Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.

(ii) 03 (Three) years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering from Government Recognized Polytechnic.

(iii) Minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification relevant work experience like maintenance and operation of engines, pumps, compressors, generating sets, laying and connecting high-pressure lines, etc. in Drilling/Workover wells in any E&P company.

For Contractual Drilling/ Workover Assistant Mechanic:

(i) Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.

(ii) Trade certificate in Diesel Mechanic Trade from Government Recognized Institute.

(iii) Minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification relevant work experience like maintenance and operation of engines, pumps, compressors, generating sets, laying and connecting high-pressure lines etc. in Drilling /Workover wells in any E&P company.

For Contractual Drilling/ Workover Assistant Operator:

(i) Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.

(ii) Trade certificate in Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Electrician/Turner/ Machinist Trade from Government Recognized Institute.

(iii) Minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification work experience in Drilling/Workover activities like rig floor operations such as making & lowering BHA, Double and Thribble board operations like tripping in/tripping out tubular, etc.

Emoluments for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

For Contractual Drilling/ Workover Operator/ Contractual Drilling/ Workover Mechanic:

The Fixed emolument will be Rs. 19500 (Rupees Nineteen Thousand and Five Hundred) only per month based on attendance including paid leave, holiday if any. Variable emolument: Rs. 750 (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty) only per day for each working day.

For Drilling/ Workover Assistant Operator/ Contractual Drilling/ Workover Assistant Mechanic:

The Fixed emolument will be Rs. 16640 (Rupees Sixteen Thousand Six Hundred and Forty) only per month based on attendance including paid leave, holiday if any. Variable emolument: Rs. 640 (Rupees Seven Hundred and forty) only per day for each working day.

Tenure for Engagement for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

The above engagements will be purely on a contractual basis and the contractual period will be for a maximum of Six months only.

Selection Process for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

The selection process will include an interview and skill test cum personal assessment.

The Date and Time of Registration and the Date of the Walk-in-Practical/ Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s) for the Post will be as given below:

Contractual Drilling/Workover Operator – 30/01/2023 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M.

Contractual Drilling/Workover Mechanic – 31/01/2023 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M.

Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Operator  – 01/02/2023 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M.

Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Mechanic – 03/02/2023 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M.

Interview Details for Oil India Recruitment 2023:

Interested candidates are required to fill in the Personal Bio-Data as given in the Oil India Recruitment 2023 Notification,  and bring it along with the required documents on the scheduled date(s) for the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s).  The interviews are to be held from 30 January 2023 to 3 February 2023 at the Employee Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan, Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam.
