OIL Recruitment 2023: Oil India Limited (OIL) is inviting applications from eligible candidates of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh domicile for the posts of Contractual Boiler Operator-Class 1 and Contractual Boiler Operator-Class II. There are 40 vacancies for the above-mentioned post. The minimum age limit to apply for the post is 20 years and the maximum is 40 years. This engagement is made on a contractual basis for Field Headquarters Duliajan. The period of mentioned contractual engagement is 6 months maybe it’s extendable up to 12 months. As per the official notification of OIL recruitment 2023, selected candidates will be paid up to Rs. 19500.
According to OIL recruitment 2023, the selection process depends on their Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment. The walk-in-Interviw will be held on the 4th and 6th of March from 7 am at Employee Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan, Oil India Contractual Boiler Limited, Duliajan, Assam. As given in the official notification of OIL recruitment 2023, interested candidates have to appear for the walk-in interview.

The minimum age limit to apply for the post is 20 years and the maximum is 40 years for UR Category.
The maximum age limit for SC/ST is 45 years.
The maximum age limit for OBC-NCL is 43 years.

Selected candidates will be paid post wise on the basis of Fixed and Variable emolument as given below:
For Contractual Boiler Operator – Class I
Fixed Emolument- Rs. 19,500 only per month based on attendance including paid leave, and holiday, if any.
Variable Emolument- Rs. 750 only per day for each working day
For Contractual Boiler Operator – Class II
Fixed Emolument- Rs. 16,640 only per month based on attendance including paid leave, holiday, if any.
Variable Emolument- Rs. 640 only per day for each working day.
As per the OIL recruitment 2023, the selection process depends on their Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment. The passing marks of the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessments will be a minimum of 50%.
The final selection from among the candidates will be only on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessments.
