Oil India Limited (OIL) is recruiting aspirants on a contractual basis for filling up the position of Drilling Engineer and Chemist. The number of vacancy avail for the given post is 02.

Tenure for OIL Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the applicant will be hired for a period of 01 year, extendable by another 01-year subject to a maximum period of 02 years. The said contract period will be extendable depending upon the requirement of the company, performance of the individual, conduct, fitness, etc.

Age for OIL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit for the above post is 24 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years. 

Qualification for OIL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the OIL Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Drilling Engineer

•  Candidate should have a bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum /Mechanical Engineering of four years duration from a Govt. recognized institute.
• Must possess a valid Well Control Certificate (IWCF Level-4/IADC-L4.).

Chemist

• Candidate should have a Post Graduate in Chemistry of  Two years duration from a Govt. recognized institute.
•  Candidate should have a bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering of four years duration from a Govt. recognized institute

Experience for OIL Recruitment 2023:

The experience required for the above-mentioned post is given below.

Drilling Engineer

Candidate with Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 03 years in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.

Chemist

• Candidate with Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 05 years in Preparation, Maintenance, and Supply of Water Base Drilling Fluid (Mud) in a Drilling well.
• Candidate with Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 07 (Seven) years in the Preparation, Maintenance, and Supply of Water Base Drilling Fluid (Mud) in Drilling well.

Salary for OIL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the applicant selected for the Drilling Engineer post will get a monthly salary of Rs.80000 and for the Chemist post candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.100000.

Selection Procedure for OIL Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be selected based on Walk-in-Interview of total 100 marks.
