For Geoscience Disciplines-

Geophysicist (Wells)-

• The candidate should have a Post Graduate Degree in Geophysics with a minimum of 60% marks.
• The candidate should have an M.Tech. in Geophysical Technology with a minimum 60% marks.
• The candidate should have a Post Graduate Degree in Physics with Electronics with a minimum of 60% marks.

For Engineering-

AEE (Production) – Mechanical, AEE (Drilling) – Mechanical, AEE (Cementing) – Mechanical-

• The candidate should have a Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.

AEE (Drilling) – Petroleum-

• The candidate should have a Graduate Degree in Petroleum Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.

AEE (Electrical)-

• The candidate should have a Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.

AEE (Instrumentation)-

• The candidate should have a Graduate Degree in Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.

Salary for ONGC Recruitment 2024:

The candidates who are selected for ONGC Recruitment 2024 will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.60000-Rs.180000.

Selection Process for ONGC Recruitment 2024:

The candidates will be selected for ONGC Recruitment 2024 on the basis of an interview. The details are mentioned below-

• GATE — 2023: The desirous and eligible candidates having the essential qualification for the advertised posts should have appeared in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 as indicated above in para 2.1 “Essential Qualification and GATE subject with code under” Eligibility Criteria and declared qualified by the GATE — 2023 authority.
• The GATE — 2023 Score in the subject mentioned against the posts of ONGC will be considered by ONGC for shortlisting the candidates in a 1:5 ratio for the further selection process of Personal Interviews as per the criteria decided by the Management. While shortlisting in the ratio of 1:5 in the respective categories, multiple candidates scoring minimum cut-off marks will also be shortlisted.
• The final selection of the candidate will be on the basis of the parameters – Educational Qualification; Performance in the GATE – 2023 and Performance in the Personal Interview.
