OPSC Recruitment 2022: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is inviting online applications from prospective candidates for the Medical Officer Position in Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical & Health Services Cadre under the Health & Family Welfare Department. The selected candidate will be placed in the Scale of Pay of Rupees 56100 in Level -12, Cell- 1 of the pay matrix as per ORSP Rules, 2017. The link for registration shall be available from 27.12.2022 to 27.01.2023 through the Proforma application form to be made available on the website. There are 3481 (Three Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-One) vacancies for the recruitment to the post as per the OPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification.

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 (twenty-one) years and must not be above the age of 38 (Thirty-Eight) years as of the 1st day of January 2022 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1984 and not later than 1st January 2001.
A candidate must:
i) have possessed an MBBS or equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India,
ii) have possessed a valid Registration Certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Rules, 1961 (0.A. 18 of 1961): Provided that, if a candidate outside the State of Odisha has not registered his name under the Odisha Council of Medical Registration established under Section 3 of the Odisha Medical Registration Act, 1961, he shall get himself registered as per the provisions of the said Act before the issue of the appointment order.
iii) have possessed the required Conversion Certificates recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
The selected candidate will be placed in the Scale of Pay of Rupees 56100 in Level -12, Cell- 1 of the pay matrix as per ORSP Rules, 2017. There will be usual Dearness and other Allowances along with the above salary as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
