Overview:

Oracle is hiring an experienced Senior Curriculum Developer – EPM at their Bangalore location. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and motivated person with a passion for creating engaging e-learning content for adult learners. They are able to respond quickly to multiple project needs. They will work closely with Product Managers and will design, develop, and maintain e-learning content while applying instructional design principles and modern design standards.

What will you be doing:

• Design and develop instructional and technically sound training materials, including PowerPoint slides, hands-on practices and labs, demonstrations, and HTML documents covering task-oriented procedures. Use defined standards and templates to create high quality training that combines multiple components for a positive user experience.
• Write scripts and produce videos that explain product functionality in a clear and concise manner
• Project manage all aspects of the development process, including understanding training requirements, creating a plan, developing content, and communicating regularly with various stakeholders
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather best practices and incorporate expertise into learning objectives and user scenarios
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks
• Follow project plans and meet all deadlines

Qualifications for this job:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, or Business Administration, Accounting, or 3+ years of experience in technical writing
• Experience with Oracle EPM financial applications such as Hyperion Financial Management or Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close or similar products by other vendors that focus on enterprise financials consolidation, tax, and planning a plus
• Knowledge of basic accounting concepts such as the accrual basis, the accounting equation, double-entry accounting and the accounting cycle a plus

What skills are needed:

• Knowledge of e-learning authoring and graphic design tools such as Audacity, Camtasia, Captivate, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver a plus
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
• A strong, positive work ethic with focus on quality
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a virtual team
• Strong organizational skills including ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design principles (ADDIE Model)
• Ability to adapt in constantly changing technology environment
