Parents are Worried about the Delay in the NEET PG Round 3 Counselling in Maharashtra Candidates in Maharashtra are still waiting for the state CET cell to hold the third round of admissions, even though the Medical Counselling Committee has directed all state admission authorities to submit information on candidates who have enrolled in postgraduate medical colleges throughout all three admission rounds. Both parents and kids are frustrated and anxious about the delay because they don't know when the admissions process will proceed. In order to guarantee that candidates who have previously obtained seats in state admission rounds be eliminated prior to the start of the all-India stray vacancy round, the MCC has requested that states provide this data by 5 PM on February 11. Students are confused because Maharashtra has not finished its third round of admissions yet. Concerns regarding the postponed admissions process have been voiced by numerous parents and students. According to parents, students are feeling apprehensive because they can't plan their next course of action because of the uncertainty surrounding the third round. Students are left waiting without any official updates from the CET office because there is no defined schedule for the results' dissemination. Because overlapping schedules may make admissions even more difficult, the delay has also sparked worries about whether students will have enough time to prepare for the all-India stray vacancy round. The delay is due to the fact that they are awaiting a new list of in-service candidates with incentive marks from the Directorate of Health Services, according to a CET cell official. The CET cell cannot move forward with the third round of admissions without this updated list. Furthermore, a court decision the day before ordered the authorities to add another applicant to the in-service category, forcing the state to ask the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for another updated state-specific merit list. Since this final list is necessary for admissions, any delay in acquiring it immediately affects the process as a whole. The source added that if this delay had occurred in the earlier rounds, they might have at least made the list of general candidates public. Regular candidates will take precedence and there won't be an opportunity for advancement if there are still available in-service seats at this time. The continuing admissions procedure will become even more complicated as in-service candidates will also be eligible for regular seats. Confusion is increased by the fact that states are required to provide information on joined candidates by February 11, even though the MCC schedule indicates that the third round of admissions ends on February 15. The CET cell is under increased strain as a result of the deadline mismatch, which makes it much harder to finish the admissions process efficiently. In the hopes of a speedy settlement, parents and children in Maharashtra are still waiting for an official update with only a few days remaining before the last deadline.
