Power Grid Recruitment 2022 for 800 Vacancies: Check Post, Qualification, and How to Apply

Power Grid Recruitment 2022: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has invited applications from bright, committed & energetic candidates for filling up vacancies on contract for Revamped Distribution Sector Reform Scheme (RDSS) under the Government of India. The engagement shall be purely on a temporary & contractual basis for a period of 24 months initially or till the completion of projects, whichever is earlier. The actual engagement may vary depending on the requirements and status of projects. The selection process will comprise of a Test, followed by a Group Discussion, Behavioural Assessment, and Personal Interview of the candidates who qualify in the Test and are shortlisted for GD and Interview.

The age of the candidate shall be below 29 years as on 11.12.2022. (Candidates should not have been born before 11.12.1993 or after 11.12.2004). Qualification and Experience for Power Grid Recruitment 2022:

For FE – Electrical:

Essential Qualification:

Full-time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent discipline from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Discipline:

Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical) Field

Experience:

Should have one-year post qualification experience of design/ engineering/construction/ testing & commissioning/ O&M in Rural Electrification (RE)/ Distribution Management Systems (DMS)/ Sub Transmission (ST)/ Transmission Lines (TLs)/ Sub-stations (S/S).

For FE – Electronics & Communication

Essential Qualification:

Full-time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electronics & Communication discipline or equivalent discipline from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/ OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Discipline:

Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Electrical Communication/ Telecommunication Engineering Field

Experience:

Should have one-year post qualification experience in design/ engineering/ construction/ testing & commissioning/ operation & maintenance of TeleCommunication Systems.

Pay Scale for Power Grid Recruitment 2022:

For Field Engineers (Electrical/E&T/IT):
Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 30,000 – 3%- 1,20,000 with initial basic pay of Rs 30,000 + Industrial DA + HRA + perks.

For Field Supervisor (Electrical/E&C):
Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs. 23,000 – 3% – 1,05,000 with initial basic pay of Rs. 23,000 + Industrial DA + HRA.

Period of Engagement for Power Grid Recruitment 2022:

The engagement of personnel is purely temporary in nature and on a contract basis for a period of 24 months or till completion of the projects, whichever is earlier. The actual engagement may vary depending on the requirements and status of projects.
