Puducherry Police Recruitment 2022: Check Vacancies, Qualification and Other Details

Puducherry Police Recruitment 2022: Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens who are native residents of the Union Territory of Puducherry for the post of Driver (Police Department) Grade III (Men) (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) under direct recruitment basis in the Police Department, Puducherry. There are a total of 26 vacancies for the given post. The minimum age limit to apply for Police Puducherry recruitment is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years. Candidates will be given remuneration in level 2 of the pay matrix.

Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply through the official website of Puducherry Police. Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test. The selected candidates will be placed under probation for a period of 2 years from the date of joining as per Puducherry Police recruitment rules.

Age-  The minimum age limit to apply for Police Puducherry recruitment is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years.

Candidates belonging to OBC/MBC will be relaxed by 3 years, and candidates belonging to SC will be relaxed by 5 years.

Tenure- Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test. The selected candidates will be placed under probation for a period of 2 years from the date of joining as per Puducherry Police recruitment rules.

Pay Scale-  As per the notification, candidates will be paid in level 2 of the pay matrix.

Qualification Recruitment 2022:

Candidates applying for Puducherry Police recruitment 2022 must possess-

i. Must have S.S.L.C. (10th) Pass or its equivalent.

ii. Should possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Licence.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test.

All candidates who qualify the Physical Standard and Physical Efficiency Test shall undergo a Written Test.

The questions will be of SSLC Standard of objective type. The test will be of 2 hours duration with 100 questions of 100 marks.

The Question paper will be in bi-lingual i.e., in English and in any one of the regional languages namely, Tamil or Telugu or Malayalam Therefore, the candidates should indicate their choice of the language in which they prefer to write the examination, in the online application. A negative mark of 0.25 will be awarded for every wrong answer and multiple answers will be treated as a wrong answers.
