Punjab Police Recruitment 2023 for 1746 Vacancies: Check Post, Qualification and Other Details
Punjab Police Recruitment 2023: Punjab Police is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Constable (District Police Cadre). There are a total of 1746 vacancies for the given post. As given in the notification of Punjab Police recruitment 2023, candidates will be given a monthly remuneration of Rs. 19900. The minimum age limit to apply for the post is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years.
Candidates will be selected in three stages i.e MCQ based test, PMT, PST and document verification. As given in the notification of Punjab Police recruitment 2023, eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of Punjab Police. As per the official notification of Punjab Police Recruitment 2023 the opening date for submitting the application form is 15th Feb 2023.
As given in the notification of Punjab Police recruitment 2023, applications are invited for the post of Constable.
According to the official notification of Punjab Police recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 28 years.
Relaxation up to five years in the prescribed upper age limit has been granted to the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, who are residents of Punjab. As such, the maximum age for such candidates shall be 33 years as on January 1st, 2023.
Candidates will be given a monthly remuneration of Rs. 19900 as per the notification of the Punjab Police.
Candidates must have the qualifications given below.
Apart from the above-mentioned qualifications, all candidates must have passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language specified by the Punjab Government.

Stage-I will consist of two Computer Based, Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type Papers viz. Paper-I and Paper-II, of which Paper-II shall be qualifying in nature.
Stage-II will consist of Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical ScreeningTest (PST). Both the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature.
Stage-III will consist of Document Scrutiny.
