Essential Qualifications for Railway Recruitment Cell Recruitment 2024:

For Level-2 (Group ‘C’)-

• The candidate should have passed the 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent Examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate, from govt. recognized Education Board/Council/Institution etc. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC, ST, ESM and PWD candidates and candidates having higher qualifications from UGC recognized Universities. OR
• The candidate should have a 10th pass from the government-recognised Board plus a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) /ITI approved by NCVT (a Diploma in Engineering is not considered an alternative higher qualification).

For Level-1 (Erstwhile Group ‘D’)-

• The candidate should have a 10th pass from the government-recognised Board. OR
• The candidate should have a 10th pass from the government-recognised Board plus an ITI/ National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) approved by NCVT.
