RBI Summer Internship 2024: Monthly Stipend Up to Rs. 20000, Registrations Started
RBI Summer Internship 2024: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the opening of applications for its 2024 Summer Internship Programme. This paid internship offers valuable opportunities for students specializing in fields such as Economics, Law, and Finance. The internship is expected to begin in April of the following year. Selected trainees will get a monthly stipend of up to Rs. 20000. The internship will initially last for six (6) months, with the possibility of an extension for an additional six months, based on the needs of the unit and the performance of the intern. All interns must sign a declaration of secrecy before starting their internship. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, i.e., opportunities.rbi.org.in, from October 15 to December 15.
Students pursuing post-graduation courses, integrated five-year courses in Management / Statistics / Commerce / Law / Economics / Econometrics / Finance / Banking, and a three-year full-time professional bachelor’s degree in law from reputed institutions/ Colleges located in India, can apply for the internship. RBI will select up to 125 students for the internship, with interview scheduled for January or February at designated RBI offices. Final selections are expected to be announced between February and March. Foreign students pursuing disciplines such as Economics, Finance, Banking, Management, or Law at overseas Institutions are also eligible to apply. The application date for foreign students is between 1st November and 31st December.
The internship will initially last for six (6) months, with the possibility of extension for an additional six months, based on the unit’s requirements and the intern’s performance.
